L. A. RUSH Tip #5: The streets of L.A. are packed, use the sidewalks and alleys to get around town quicker. You can cut off several seconds in your races by sticking to the sides and avoiding the traffic. L. A. RUSH Tip #6: When you get to races that the competition is just too tough, look for the stunt tokens and get some nice concept cars to help you along the way. L. A. RUSH Tip #7: You only need to visit West Coast Customs once per vehicle, and Concept Cars come as good as they will get, so no need to go when you acquire one of those. Customization can be expensive, so unless you think you are really going to use a new car, don't waste your money if you don't have to.

L. A. Rush Tip #1: Run the first race a few times, if not 10 or more, Get the feel for your car and the road each time you get a new car. The first race is also a good place to earn money when your down and out in Beverly Hills since it is FREE! L. A. RUSH Tip #2: When you go to a big race, pack in the nitro's and use them off the start, they can give you that edge you need to get out in front of the pack. L. A. RUSH Tip #3: When the cops are hot on your tail, just lose them in an alley or parking lot. They chase you a lot but can't really pull you over unless you stop and wait for them to catch you, just keep moving and you can get a police escort through town! When you hit a new mission the cops leave you alone. L. A. RUSH Tip #4: Let off the gas if you are going to crash, it can save you time in a race.
